january roses

This is the centerpiece of the largest formal rose garden in Florida, part of the Henry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando.  I was here a couple of weeks ago, delighted by roses and 70 degree weather in January.  It will probably be April before we see roses like this in North Carolina, but this garden was a sweet reminder of what's coming.

  2. At first I was thinking you actually had roses in NC, given how warm it is lately. Orlando is so lucky to have Roses in January, crazy!

  5. With the temperatures we have been having lately, you may see those roses sooner than expected.

  7. Blooms may be here before April. I see buds on my fruit trees already, cherry trees are blooming. Everything is so early! Wanted to let you know that I have awarded you the Versatile Blogger award. You can see my post for all the details! Have a great weekend!
