Flower Carpet Amber Rose

The Flower Carpet roses are incredible plants. If only they had stronger fragrance! But, they bloom almost nonstop from early spring until December in my garden. Amber changes color as the weather changes, with more pink tones in cooler weather and yellow with heat, but it's always pretty. Especially nice is the fact that Flower Carpet roses will still bloom like crazy in part shade. I have had no disease or insect problems, just beautiful glossy green foliage and tons of flowers all summer long.

  2. jess, they are sometimes called groundcover roses which is a stretch, but it is because they grow wider than tall, i believe. my largest one is a pink supreme which is about 4 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet tall at 3 years old...in the shade.

  3. I like how the buds are one color, they open another and age to another still. They also seem to be among the more vigorous Flower Carpets, which are not all created equal.
