Butterflies

Insects were as plentiful as flowers at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens last Sunday.  Best were the butterflies - they were everywhere! Buddleia and zinnias were delectable to them, but their favorite was glossy abelia (top photo).  There were times that shrub was so covered with nectar sippers, you could barely see the foliage!
